He was predeceased by: his parents, Jace Allen and Bonnie McCanless Allen; and his brothers, Owen and Clarence Allen. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Allen; and his stepdaughters, Sandy Wilson Smith of Canton, Sharon Setzer (Jeff) of Troy, SC and Betty Morgan.
