He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Regina Gransback and Edward John Barba; and his sister Phyllis Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Pennington Barba; his children, John Barba and Kathryn Barba Pierce (Russell) of Durham; his brothers, Gerald Barba of Glenside and Edward Barba (Rosilita) of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Kayla Barba Pettit (Ryan) of Fletcher, Josh Barba (Kendra) of Clyde, Clare Pierce of Durham and Aidan Pierce of Durham.
