He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Wynelle Kuykendall (Ford) of Asheville and James Robert Kuykendall. He is survived by: his wife Janet Kuykendall (Smith) of Fletcher; his sons, Jon and Joseph Kuykendall; his grandson Noah Kuykendall; his sisters, Sheree'Baker and Jan Cundiff (Marty); and his pet Louis. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
