It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Wade O'Neal Jr. of Fletcher, North Carolina, born in Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Smith and Grace Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carol Cantrell O'Neal; his children, Jerry O'Neal (Amy) of Muncie, IN and Christa DelSorbo (Carl) of Greeneville, TN; his siblings, Rudy Smith (Rosie) of Pickens, SC and Dale Smith (Vickie) of Asheville, NC; and his grandchildren, Gracen O'Neal of Indianapolis, IN, Jarod DelSorbo (Sydney) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Carter DelSorbo (Bailey) of Lynchburg, VA and Drew O'Neal (Hannah) of New Castle, IN..
