She was predeceased by: her husband Harley Grupe Shepard; and her parents, Alice and Alfred. She is survived by: her sister Donna Jean Gile of Bristol, VT; her sons, Michael (Marcia) of Hendersonville, N. C., Gary (Janet) of Easton, CT, David (Stephanie) of Brooklyn, N. Y, Steven (Barbara) of Winston Salem, N. C., Timothy (Dustin) of Mills River, N. C and Joseph Hepworth (Carol) of Chester, MA; her grandchildren, Sarah Luick (Robert), Kirk (Anthony), Kyle (Manuel), Christopher (René), Blake (Caryln), Lauren Aponte (Ray), Sydney and Halle; and her great grandchildren, Colton, Carson Luick, Zelda, Theodore Shepard, Callahan Shepard and Harper Shepard-Szabo.
