He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Hamby and Travis Woodie Hamby. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Eldreth Hamby; his daughters, Amanda Halsey (Cory) of Crumpler and Alicia Brooks (Josh) of Lansing; his sister Vickie Moore (Chris) of Fleetwood; his grandsons, Colt Halsey and Jesse Brooks; his nephew Evan Moore (Kayla); and his mother-in-law Ruth Ann Eldreth.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mission Home Baptist Church (480 Railroad Grade Rd, Fleetwood, NC 28626). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
