She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Don Watson and Pollie Bolick Watson; her son James Allen Cheek; her great grandchild Anson Marshall Cheek; and her brothers, Charles Watson and Denver Watson.
She is survived by: her husband A. M. Cheek; her children, Debra Church (Kenneth) of Fleetwood and Rodney Cheek (Lisa) of Fleetwood; and her grandchildren, Alicia Howell (Richard Lee) of Walnut Cove, Becky Howell (Gene) of Sparta, Trathen Cheek (Stephanie) of Fleetwood, Andrea Davis (Daren) of Laurel Springs and Brandon Cheek (Lindsey) of Fleetwood. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
