She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Walters and Eula Gertrude Greene Laurance; her husband Raymond Edward Brown; her son Edward Laurance Brown; and her brother Joe Lawrence.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynnette Higgins (Scott) of Wilmington, NC; her sisters, Reba Williams of Colorado Springs, CO and Rebecca West (Donald) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her grandchild Alyth Rose Higgins. She is also survived by seven nieces.
