He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lemly Holdaway; his children, Tabitha Watson (Andrew) of Deep Gap, Wendy Springs (Mike) of Alabama, Jason Holdaway (Heather) of West Jefferson and Justin Holdaway of Fleetwood; his stepdaughters, Tanya Huffman of Wilkesboro and Dawn Renee Huffman of Lenoir; and his siblings, Brenda Dumlevy of Pine Hurst, Shirley Howard (Wally) of West Jefferson, Lanny Holdaway of Wilmington, Kenny Holdaway of Mt and Airy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren, two step great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
