With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kermit Hopkins (Fleetwood, North Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Hopkins and Myrtle Howell Hopkins; his siblings, Larry Hopkins and Oralee Main; his half-brother Ricky Hopkins; and his pet Tiny.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Miller Hopkins; his children, David Hopkins (Tammy) of Lansing and Amanda Bryan of Fleetwood; his siblings, Roy Hopkins (Hazel) of Crumpler and Nena Bare (Jim) of Millers Creek; and his half-siblings, Bobby Hopkins (Teresa) of West Jefferson, Johnny Hopkins of West Jefferson and Joyce Houck (Ronnie) of West Jefferson. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
