He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edgar Parsons and Virginia Dare Triplett Parsons; and his close friend Larry Greene. He is survived by: his sister Joyce Griffin of Fleetwood; his niece Rita Hoffmann (Erik); his great-nieces, Brooklyn and Charlotte of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and his nieces, Laura Griffin of Boone and Renee Griffin of Fleetwood. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
