He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Trivette and Lunday Trivette; and his sister Lena Mae. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Karen Cook (Mark) and Bryan Trivette (Lisa); his grandson Michael Trivette of Fleetwood; and his siblings, Geneva Isaacs (Ricky) of Vilas, Gale Trivette (Jimmy) of Fleetwood, Ralph of Fleetwood, Gary of Fleetwood, Rodney (Ann) of Fleetwood, Ronnie (Angie) of Fleetwood and Tommy (Ranae) of Fleetwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
