He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Edward and Nora Marie Hurley Hamm; his daughter Novella Michelle Hamm; his sister Ruby Rash; and his wife Joyce Ann Day Hamm.
He is survived by: his children, David Miller of Lansing, Earl Dean Hamm Jr. (Speedie) of West Jefferson and Cindy Price (Robert) of Creston; his daughter-in-law Melissa of Damacus; his brother Ronnie Hamm of Lansing; his grandchildren, Amanda May, Michael Miller, Pamela Jones, David Miller, Jr., Ben Miller and Shelton Price; and his great grandchildren, Haylee May, Heather May, Daniel May, Cody Medley, Dalton Jones, Addison Jones, Rachael Miller, Jacob Miller, Kaden Miller, Robbie Miller, Jr., Zoey Miller and Madeline Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
