He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Woodrow Medley and Nellie Eldreth Medley; his son Scotty Medley; and his brothers, Dean Eldreth and Glen Royal.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Crystal Dawn Medley and Troy Medley (Morgan) of Fleetwood; his siblings, Nancy Kerley (Don) of Wilkesboro, Nina Royal of Jefferson and David "Dave" Medley (Kathy) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Hunter Scott Greene, Kaleb Austin Greene, Dalas Conner Medley and Chole "Emmy" Greene; and his niece Michelle Medley Jorgensen (Todd) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
