With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Artie Campbell McGlohon of Fleetwood, North Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayland McGlohon and Margaret McGlohon; and his brother Wayland McGlohon, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jill Carpenter McGlohon; his daughters, Melissa Decker (Rodger) and Amy Rucker (Alan); his grandchildren, Carter, Sydney, Logan (Riley), Lee and Lane; his brother David McGlohon (Maxie); his nephew Dave; and his sister Claire.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (495 NC-194, West Jefferson, NC 28694).
