She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Harvey and Paralea Brown Gentry; her daughter Karen Phipps; and her siblings, Betty Houck and Garland Toliver.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Phipps; her children, Michael Phipps and Sierra Miller (Charles) of Fleetwood; her brother Jackie Gentry (Linda) of Fleetwood; and her grandchildren, Lindsey Phipps, Myla Miller and Lily Miller.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the BIG Flatts Baptist Church Cemetery (2373 Big Flatts Church Rd, Fleetwood, NC 28626).
