She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Frelinhysen and Elizabeth Jean Talmage (Clark). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Richard W. Mears, Jr.; her son Jonathan Clark Talmage Mears (Gemma); her grandson Ian; and her brother John F. Talmage of Hendersonville. She is also survived by husband, family and many dear friends.
