He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elbert Whitmire and Ida Whitmire; his siblings, Joe Whitmire and Beulah Robinson; his wife Loretta Anders Whitmire; his children, Karen Wehrle (Tom) and Rich Whitmire (Debra); his sisters, Peggy Guilkey and Carol Merrill; his stepgrandchildren, Hollie McDaniel, Danna Wehrle and Justin Nance; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Clint, Mercy, Maggie and The Whitmire.
