He was predeceased by: his parent Cull Walters; and his sister Elaine Bullard. He is survived by: his parent Nell Walters; his wife Betty Donahue; his sons, Jim (David), Greg, Cary (Lisa), Shane (Markey) and Todd (Kerry); his grandchildren, Madison, Jalee, Cameron and Avery; his great grandchildren, Caroline and Banks; and his sister Lois Reinert. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Walters' family has requested contributions be made to a memorial fund in Steve's name at Mud Creek Baptist Church, 403 Rutledge Dr., Hendersonville, NC 28739, to support a youth in need.
