With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Garland of Flat Rock, North Carolina, born in Brattleboro, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his daughter Hannah Garland (Hunter). He is survived by: his daughter Mary Wilson (Alex); his granddaughters, Elise and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Christopher Garland (Chip), Matt Garland (Jody) and Melinda Buteau. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great nieces and a nephew.
A memorial service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704).
