It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Sawick of Flat Rock, North Carolina, born in Skyland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, N. R. Bishop and Eliza Hollifield Bishop; her husband Harry Sawick; and her siblings, Edna Lanning, Catherine Milligan, Effie Matthews, Alma Young, Ernest Bishop, Herman Bishop and Arch Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Audrey Sawick of Flat Rock, Carol Bright of Hendersonville, Sharon S. Moore (David) of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Mikey Sawick of Hendersonville; her granddaughter Kasey Earley of Mills River; and her great grandchild Lillian Barilari of Mills River. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
