He is survived by: his children, Keith McKinney (Renee) of Boiling Springs and Kim Harrison (John) of Hendersonville; his grandson Aiden of Boiling Springs; his brother Roger McKinney (Laura) of Cary; his sister-in-law Sandy McKinney of Claremont; and his close friend Gail Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
