He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Edney and Edith Hill Edney; and his sister Betty Edney Lyda (Lewis Lyda). He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Edney; his sons, Aaron D. Edney and Bryan T. Edney; his grandchildren, Claire Edney and Reese Edney; his siblings, Lillie Edney, Patricia Edney Westbrook (Tim) and Wade Edney (Sara); and his nieces and nephews, Angie Craft, Allison Edney-White, Stephanie Westbrook, Barry Lyda, Darrin Tinsley and Jason Edney.
