He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jones and Martha Jones; his wife Lucille; his son Roy; his granddaughter Karen; and his former wife Christine.
He is survived by: his children, Sara (Jay), Brenda, Earl (Jewel) and Rita (Dennis). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, 4 stepchildren.
