She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Marion and Bessie Locust Ashe; and the fathers of children, Robert Gentry, David Gentry and Joe Gentry.
She is survived by: her son Johnny (Annette Gentry); her sister Mary Joe Cagle; and her grandchildren, Tracy Kennedy, Brian Gentry, Adaire Murray (Dusty), Elizabeth Gentry and Zeb Gentry (Hayley). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
