She is survived by: her children, Joyce Boyd (Quentin) of Purlear, Roger Watts (Cleo) of Ferguson, Rita Watts (Miguel Juarez) of Lenoir and James Watts (Pauline) of Ferguson; her brother Wayne Matherly (Ardean) of Cricket; and her grandchildren, Bryan Huffman (Allison) of Wilkesboro, Diana Watts of Ferguson, Sharon Slane (Chris) of Ferguson, Roger Allen Watts (Jodie) of Ferguson, Brandon Watts of Ferguson, Troy Townsend (Taylor) of Granite Falls, Tammy Brown of Mulberry and Teresa Shumate (Joey) of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
