He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Blevins and Sadie Shumate Blevins; and his brothers, J. C., Tom, Joe, Bob, Billy, Fred, James and Talmadge Blevins.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Canter Blevins; his children, Lisa Carroll (Ricky) of Traphill, Keith Blevins (Myrna) of Thurmond, Frankie Blevins of Hays and Kevin Blevins (Vickie) of Traphill; and his grandchildren, Brandon Carroll (Tonya) of Mocksville, Shawn Carroll (Ashley) of Traphill, Ryan Blevins of North Wilkesboro, Jonathan Jarvis of Ferguson, Wendy Blevins of West Jefferson, James Blevins (Christy) of Hays, Cole Blevins of Traphill, Hailey Blevins of Traphill, Titan Minton of Millers Creek and Trenton Blevins. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
