It is with great sadness that we announce the death of McKinley Absher (Ferguson, North Carolina), who passed away on January 27, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley William and Myrtle Reeves Absher; his daughter Laura Renee Triplett; and his siblings, Iva Nell Gainey, Bernice Parsons, Rosalee Church, Viola Campbell, Claude Absher, Charles Absher, Granville Absher and Martin Absher.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ann Foster Absher; his children, John Triplett (Andrea) of Ferguson, Matthew Triplett of Ferguson, Angie Cheek of Ferguson, Lynett Wooten (Kent) of Wilkesboro, Juanima Minton of Hays, Laytin Absher, Martin Absher (Iris) of Purlear, Anita Swanson of Clayton, NC and Michael Absher of California; and his siblings, Ann Shephard, Claudeane Burch (Deane), Betty McGuire, Sallie Key and Brenda Williams. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; as well as, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
