We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2020, at the age of 60, Lawrence Sanders of Ferguson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Romie Sanders and Doris Sanders; his son Dakota Hendrix; and his siblings, Charles Sanders and Effie Dianne Sanders (Boo).

He is survived by: his son David Alan Sanders (Neveradaire-Karoline McLean); his former wife Paula Hendrix of Ferguson; and his siblings, Susie Walsh (Gary) of Boomer, Audrey Walsh (Jerry Gilbert), Elizabeth Walsh (Ken), Phyllis Minton (DC) of Ferguson, Barbara Gilbert (Leroy) of Ferguson, Ronnie Sanders of Ferguson, Kenneth Sanders of Boomer and Johnny Sanders (Tammy) of Millers Creek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
