It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grover Cleveland Marley of Ferguson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Elizabeth Hamby Marley; and his siblings, Junior Marley, Billy Joe Marley, Robert Lee Marley, Franklin Dee Marley, Tommy Marley and Anna Sue Marley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Blankenship of Ferguson, Rebecca Parker of Purlear and Pamela Marley of North Wilkesboro; his grandson Andrew Marley (Natalie); his great grandchild Will of Wilkesboro; his granddaughter Amanda Jensen (John); his great grandchild Lily of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, April Shepherd (Travis), Adam Blankenship (Melissa), Cassie Richards (Cody) and Chasity Long; his great great grandchild Landon George; his children, Bruce Walker (Debbie) of Lenoir, Lavin Walker (Denise) of Roaring River, Clayton Walker (Tammy) of Granite Falls, Jeanette Dowell of North Wilkesboro, Brenda St. John (Boyd) of Lenoir, Janet Marshall (Dale) of Lumberton and Glenda Burr of Bay St; his siblings, Richard Marley of Ferguson, Clayton Marley of Ferguson, Boyd Marley of Granite Falls, Nina Mae Beavers of Ferguson and Ethel Greene (Daniel) of Lenoir; and also Scottie Marley (Jennie). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
