We bid farewell to Dwyaine Ayers Sr. of Ferguson, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2024 at the age of 74. Dwyaine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Delton Ayers and Estelle West Ayers; his brother Steve Ayers; and his son-in-law Barry Williams. He is survived by: his friend Larry Nichols; his significant other Wanda Hawkins; his children, Willie Dwyaine Ayers, Jr., Heather Lee Ayers of Wilkesboro and Junior of North Wilkesboro; his sisters, Sue Hamby of Ferguson, Sandra Pennell (Randy) of Boomer and Laverne Myers (Danny) of Ronda; his sister-in-law Anne Ayers; and also Barb.
In lieu of flowers, Dwyaine asked that donations be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or, locally, to the Mount Pleasant Elementary School Inclusive Community Park Fund.
