With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Hawkins Elledge of Ferguson, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dow Hawkins and Dora Hendrix Hawkins; her husband Michael Ned Elledge; her son Keith Elledge; and her brothers, William and Clyde Hawkins.

She is survived by: her daughter Tonia Elledge of Ferguson; and her sisters, Jeanette Dove of Ferguson, Dorothy Triplett of Ferguson, Virginia Smith of Ferguson and Elizabeth Robbins (Mitchell) of Ferguson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hawkins Family Cemetery (5341 Elk Creek Darby Rd, Ferguson, NC 28624).
