He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie Adkins (Debra) of Charlotte and Eric Adkins (Debbie) of Ferguson; and his grandchildren, Danielle Cochrane of Charlotte, David Adkins of Morganton, Kim Keil of Conover, Nichole Parga of Wilkesboro and Angela Perez of Ferguson. He is also survived by his three great-grandchildren.
