He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Smith Goforth, Sr. and Vera Marie Triplette Goforth; his sister Dorothy (Bill Wolfe); and his brother-in-law Henry Boone. He is survived by: his close friend Judy Lambert; his children, Barton Goforth of Winston-Salem, Jamie Lambert of Ferguson, Kenny Lambert (Jodie) of Millers Creek and Melinda Wingler (Scott) of Purlear; his grandchildren, Kelly Wingler, Kelsey Lambert, Jacob Wagoner and Landon Lambert; and his sister Jewel Boone of Mocksville.
