It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zula Hubbard (Fayetteville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 3, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Zula Hubbard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillie Murphy Horne and George W. Horne, Sr.; and her siblings, Myra Belle Clark, Mildred Raynor, Agnes Blake and Bob Horne.
She is survived by: her husband Laurice V. Hubbard; her daughters, Jane Bristol (Ed) of Raleigh and Susan Hubbard; her granddaughter Lauren Bryson; her brother George W. Horne, Jr of Fayetteville; and her sisters-in-law, Gilda Horne, Peggy Hubbard Horne and Melree Tart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 569, Fayetteville, NC 28302 earmarked for "Two Cents a Meal" fund; or Cape Fear Valley Hospice, 3400 Walsh Parkway, Suite 100, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
