Wiggs; his children, Susan Robin Wiggs and William James Wiggs, Jr. (Donna Ashley Wiggs); his grandchildren, Benjamin Southall Wiggs of Fayetteville and Ashley Lawrence Wiggs of Columbia, SC; his niece Catherine Cornelia McLeod of Pittsboro, NC; his nephew John Charles "Jack" McLeod of Trinidad, California; his sister-in-law Josephine Cullifer Sapp (Newell Winfield Sapp, Jr.); and his nephews, Newell Winfield Sapp, III of Charleston, SC. and Benjamin Cullifer Pickens Sapp of Charleston, SC..
