He is survived by: his wife Rose Lashley Herndon; his children, Michael (Cindy), Stephen (Sharolyn), David, Kathy Chavis (Stanley), Patti Caulder (Darrell) and Lisa Edge (Brian); and his grandchildren, Mathew, Jason, Jennifer, Amanda, Amber, Ben, Brian, Tyler, Debra and Bailey.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one's favorite children's charity.
