We bid farewell to Walter Whitted Franklin of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 6, 2024 at the age of 71. Walter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Walter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Walter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Rashon Hammons, Ja'Kiel Hammons and Sh'Kira Hammons; and his siblings, Brenda Franklin, Corrennia Harris, Colandys Franklin and Timothy Franklin.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
