It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Trula Jane Bryson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Pope and Lucy Viola Elliott Pope; her husband James Levon Bryson Sr.; her son Jeffrey Glenn Bryson; her daughter-in-law Donna Bryson; her granddaughter Karen Harris; her great grandchild Terry Gray Harris Jr.; and her siblings, Earl, Marvin, Harold, Margie, Jessie Mae and Beulah.
She is survived by: her children, James Lawrence Bryson of Fayetteville, Matthew Wayne Bryson (Phyllis) of Fayetteville, Dennis Levon Bryson of Fayetteville and Joyce Marlene Nobles (Don) of Fayetteville; and her siblings, Ronald Pope (Debbie) of Belmont, NC and Vergie Jenkins of Forrest City, NC. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, great grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Antioch Church of God (542 Shaw Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28303). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Liberty, NC 28307).
In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to Antioch Church of God, 542 Shaw Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303.
