He was predeceased by: his father Hector John Furmage; and his sister Eleanor Hope Furmage. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Brigman Furmage; his children, Ramona L Furmage, Marie Furmage Marus (Jeff) and Hector J Furmage (Susan); his great grandchildren, Elle and Issac Thompson; his sister Judy Furmage Capps; and his sister-in-law Shirley Brigman Turriff (George). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be made to Parkton Baptist Church.
