She is survived by: her son Johnathan D. Avery; her grandchildren, Jasamine Jennings (Pierre), Jade Fambro (Darrell) and Jakai Avery; and her siblings, John Fletcher Avery and Frances Robinson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Viewing will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ (455 Williams St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
