In loving memory of Sandra Sykes Cooper of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who departed this world on October 15, 2024 at the age of 69. Sandra leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Sykes and Grace Sewell; and her siblings, Evelyn Sykes Barnes, Willie and Larry Sykes.
She is survived by: her husband James Cooper; her daughters, Renee Turner (Justin) of Fayetteville, NC and Lani Mason (Matthew) of Autryville, NC; her siblings, Jimmy Sykes of Chesapeake, VA, Helen Sewell (Pete) of Laurinburg, NC and Tina Farmer (David) of Fort Worth, TX; and her grandsons, Jaxon, Jase Turner, Levi and Maverick Mason. She is also survived by her daughters, sons-in-laws, grandsons, siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM at the Freedom Baptist Church (2115 Middle Rd, Eastover, NC 28312). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Freedom Baptist Church Missionary Fund in Sandra's honor.
