He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Vona and Russell Vona. He is survived by: his wife Diane Vona; his sons, Richie Vona, Cam Vona, Scott Vona (Julie Anna) and Michael Vona; his brother Dennis; and his sister-in-law Sandy Pollock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
