She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Cole and Theresa Greco; and her nephew Christopher Cole. She is survived by: her husband William Schermerhorn; her sons, William Raymond Schermerhorn of Fayetteville and Erik Thomas Schermerhorn of Fayetteville; her siblings, Raymond Cole and Carmella Burlarley (Michael) of Accord, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Rachel Cain, Lisa Burlarley, Tony Cole and Kevin Cole. She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Green Springs Baptist Church (1095 E Green Springs Rd, Parkton, NC 28371). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Green Springs Baptist Church East Green (1095 E Green Springs Rd, Parkton, NC 28371). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
