He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Brandenburg and Gertrude Hunley Brandenburg; and his siblings, Jerry Brandenburg, Ralph Brandenburg and Cherly Binggeli.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Brandenburg; his children, Robert Wayne Brandenburg Jr. (Julie) of Mooresville, NC, Kimberly Brandenburg, Michelle LeBlanc (Kevin) of Bunce, TX, Michael Brandenburg (Ember) of Maxwell and Melissa Castellanos (JC) of Murray, KY; and his siblings, Gary Brandenburg of Ohio, Randy Brandenburg of Ohio, Joyce Taulbee of Ohio and Pamela Davidson of Ohio. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many extended relatives and friends.
