He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Poole and Ruth Poole; and his brother James Lewis Poole. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Kathy Poole Armstrong and Robert "Jason" Poole; his sister Earlene Poole Jackson; his son-in-law Chris Armstrong; his grandsons, Joshua Tyler Armstrong (Caroline) and Hunter Leighton Armstrong (Charlotte); and his great grandchildren, Hampton Lee Armstrong and Robert Bratcher Armstrong.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Snyder Memorial Baptist Church (701 Westmont Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28305). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
