With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Harris Rummel (Fayetteville, North Carolina), born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on December 17, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rummel of Fayetteville; his children, Diana Sanders, Charrie Fredericks (Steve), Raymond Rummel (Tammy) and James Rummel (Julia); and his brother Larry Rummel (Linda). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Saint Patrick Catholic Church Building Fund.
