Peggy Edwards Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Edwards of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Peggy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Peggy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Walters; her husband Raymond H. Edwards; and her son Ricky Galyean. She is survived by: her children, Debby Sams (Mark) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Mickey Galyean (Wendy) of Raleigh, NC and Scotty Galyean (Lisa) of Cameron, NC; and her sister Gennie Venable of Ahoskie, NC.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Raeford City Cemetery.
