We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2024, at the age of 85, Odd Franklin Holstead (Fayetteville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sverre Holstead and Margot S. Holstead. He is survived by: his siblings, Alf Holstead (Ray) and Marion Kuehl; his daughters, Lisa Ann Holstead and Deborah Lynn Veley; his grandson Declan Berg Holstead; his wife Hanna; and his children, Susan Holstead (Wisconsin), Laurie Brain, Steven (Andrea) of Texas and Eric (Arizona). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand daughter as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM at the Lafayette Funeral Home (6651 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Liberty, NC 28307).
