He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew M. Smith, Sr. and Irene McKethan Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his daughter Michelle Smith Mund (Chris); his grandsons, Ben Anthony, Jr. and Matthew Mund; his great grandchild Benjamin Howard Anthony III; and his pet Felix.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Highland Presbyterian Church (111 Highland Ave, Fayetteville, NC 28305).
